The reason of existence began with a very simple idea, one that often seems to get lost, and that is to put the kids first. We saw an opportunity to create a new space for a team built of players that are all baseball enthusiasts. 

While we are all competitive and want to win, there is just as much, if not more, learning to be had from the hardships that come with sports. Having the ability to face them head on and do so with grace is just as important as winning with humility.

The approach that the Idaho Mavericks coaching staff takes is one that strives to teach kids the fundamentals of the game. Both mentally and physically.

These fundamentals are all part of a journey that leads them to develop as people with the ultimate goal of giving them the tools to be successful while playing this game, but also in their own game of life. Winning happens as a byproduct of a great journey.

The focus is on developing good players, good teammates and good humans.
